Job Description
Principal Responsibilities: The Gordon JCC Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) is seeking a warm, dependable and collaborative full-time Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. Our classrooms serve children ages 6 weeks through 5 years, and we are looking for an educator who is passionate about early childhood development and values teamwork.
This is a full-time position working alongside a dedicated co-teacher in a supportive, relationship-centered environment.

The ECLC is a play-based, child-centered program focused on social-emotional development, curiosity, and community. We believe in supporting the whole child and the whole teacher. As part of the Gordon JCC, we welcome educators of all backgrounds.

Responsibilities
? Partner with a co-teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
? Foster a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
? Support children's social-emotional growth
? Maintain open and professional communication with families
? Ensure classroom safety and compliance with DHS licensing standards
? Participate in school events and professional development opportunities
Compensation & Benefits
? $19-$23 per hour, based on education and experience
? Candidates with extensive experience and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related fi eld may be considered at the higher end of the pay range
? Two weeks off in the winter (December 21-January 1)
? One week in July for teacher in-service and classroom preparation (July 27-31)
? Labor Day, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving, Passover, Memorial Day & July 4th off (8 days)

Minimum Qualifications: ? Experience working with young children (6 weeks-5 years) preferred

? Ability to meet Tennessee DHS requirements
Salary: $35,000 - $45,000

Camp Davis, established in 1930s, provides a day campexperience for hundreds of school-age children each summer.
